Burg Beaufort

More castles today!

On our way back yesterday we passed by a sign that told us there was another castle nearby. So Jaap wanted to make me happy and go there.

Except for the roof and some of the buildings inside the walls this castle is still pretty much intact. From the outside it looks impressive.

We aso visited the ruins of a Roman Villa which they have put a roof over and is now in use as a stage for musical and theatre perfeomances. Nice!
