It's Okay. We're Hopeful.

I bet all Pinoys know for a fact that a smile creates an instant unexplainable good vibes. I believe everyone deserves to try it!


In our country, despite of all calamities and pretty miserable situations, we still have that smile - the greatest weapon that goes beyond any adversity, which enlightens the soul.

Being driven to help those in need most is human nature. It was that time when Metro Manila, especially in Marikina and nearby provinces were reeling from monsoon-induced flash floods and amidst threats of another round of heavy rainfall brought by tropical storm Helen last August 2012. No one could bear to just sit back and see those people on tv begging for any help they can get. Thank God there were a number of volunteer opportunities. With the help of Rotary Club Marikina East and Rotaract Club – Meteor, My friends and I were able to conduct a feeding program for those families near our area who were devastated by the flood. The program did well and resulted into more smile and wink here and there. It was a great fulfillment to witness those smiles that deliver warmth and light greater than the sun - those pearls that encourage hope, positivity and new beginning.
