Proud mama

Today the younger son took part in the junior north run. He attended with many others with his school and had a Good day. I asked "are you excited" he
Replied its 2 and a half miles!!
He only took up running about 10 months ago, it was because he wanted to be fitter, he does go boxing training 3 nights a week and very often on a run every other morning - so I guess the thought of 2 and a half miles wasn't really a challenge distance wise. He ended up 41st in his age group which he was happy with we don't know how many we're in the group. As a mum it doesn't matter how many, it
Matters that he entered, he enjoyed and he was happy with his result.
I think it shows that at the end of the day the individuals performance can only be judged by the individuals themselves, for it has to be there decision whether they are happy with their performance. Lloyd was so I'm a proud mama.
