Missed the mist

Got up earlier than planned because there was a lovely mix of sun and mist outside - but of course, by the time I got to the water meadows, the mist had virtually gone. You can just see a slight haze in the distance. Still, everything was looking very pretty, with martins zooming about overhead preparing to fly south and adding a wonderful energy to the morning.
