Saturday night selfies
Please excuse this weird photo, self-portraits are really not my strong suit!
I had another quiet morning but I did manage to sort out my interview questions for my research report. I'm kind of excited about it because FareShare, the organisation I'm researching, agreed to let me interview one of their volunteers and the CEO. I feel very official and academic!
I met Charlie for coffee in Fitzroy at a cafe I've been wanting to try for ages. It was really nice and very quirky, with an awesome lit up milk bar sign over the counter. Afterwards we went to the Centre for Contemporary Photography, which was just around the corner. It was really cool there - my favourite piece was a short film that was a combination of interpretative dance and dialogue. So awesome.
I spent the evening eating pizza and watching The Return of the King for, like, the third time. I definitely had a bit of a cry at the end, but sometimes you need to put on a sad movie and cry out all the stresses of the week. I had a bit of a down week so I needed the emotional release!
So I really like this photo because it's interesting and off centre and only shows a bit of my face and is weirdly focussed, but the best thing about it is it doesn't show my puffy eyes. Note to self: take the selfie before you cry over Frodo Baggins.
