Renovation Day 1

My father-in-law Ian has come over from Wagin in Western Australia for a visit. He can't stand sitting around doing nothing, so he's helping me knock a bit bloody hole in the wall in the breakfast room to instal a large window. The room is very gloomy usually, so we've wanted to do this for ages, but I didn't have the confidence to do it on my own. So far so good and the ceiling hasn't collapsed, which is a good sign I think.
