What a difference a day makes

Arthur's Seat has all but disappeared this morning. The forecast squalls have arrived, wind and rain is battering the velux window. 9 deg outside, says my tablet.

This is a duvet day but nevertheless I will get up and do things I want to do, not have to do.

The lunch date, my sons taking me out to celebrate '60 not out', 8 months on, is now a dinner date tomorrow. #2 son has an assessment to do for tomorrow.

I might do Christmassy preparation, a week early, or see, or bake for this week or print photos. I have a 2 page report to do but that can wait till tomorrow morning.

So as the weather continues outside I have an empty day ahead of me to do what I want in my lovely little house, with my garden refuge outside and with my, almost all, family, here with me, in our family home. I gave that up 6 years ago and now I've got it back. Life is good.

Shame about the weather though!
