Trailtroopers

I had some stunning photos of Glen Coe taken very early this morning that I was sure were going to be my Blip today. We had a very early start to get down the road in time to take part in a race called Trailtroopers, back in our home town of Dumbarton.

It was an exceptionally hard course, 10 K over very hilly cross-country, and including 13 obstacles such as several river runs, crawling under netting, climbing fences, sliding down huge embankments and carrying a tyre around a circuit!! I was knackered!!

To my great surprise and delight, I was the 2nd female home, placed 23 in the field. Just think what I could've done if I hadn't been carousing in the Clachaig Inn till late the night before!!!
