Nuthatch

A trip out this afternoon to the bird hides again as the weather cleared up for a while and looked much more promising. Several good sightings of 2 kingfishers as they flashed across the lake and then one of them went and sat in the bushes on the island, but just too far away for a decent picture.

But a bit earlier I did get this good one of a nuthatch, complete with seed in beak.

Life is for living ... we can catch some of it on film to keep the memories alive, but living and enjoying it now is important too.
