Ripe plums

Near neighbours are currently away an said we could raid their Victoria plum tree. The fruits are not as sweet as in some previous years but very prolific. Over 4 kg later I looked at those out of reach - even when perched on a ladder - and these were catching the late afternoon sun.

I sense a period of plum crumble coming up.
