Wagons roll ......

....its Stobartfest 2013!! Held at Carlisle Airport this year's Stobartfest was too handy not to give it a visit. Following the tv series showing the lives of the Eddie Stobart haulsge company we got a little hooked.

So a visit to the fest today was like wagon heaven. Ok, yes the drivers were there so it was 'oh theres Mark, oh Matt & isnt welsh Ashley so lovely & chatty!' But I have to admit I hunted more for the wagon's names so immediately found Phoebe Grace & Matilda, then April.

However it was great to see all the others - so much money's worth! The horsebox was there, the car transporter, the timber lorry & Tim's biomass lorry with the walking floor. All too were perfectly demonstrated. We even saw them 'wrapping' a lorry so putting on the stobart logo stickers. Its certainly a huge company as the boss's mercedes, audi & super helicopter were on display too!

It was hard to pick a photo but with many possibly not knowing of Eddie's tv series I've elected not to put on Mark or Matt (I didnt queue to get a photo taken!). I'm putting on a line of wagons before the thousands of true Stobart Spotters descended. The black lorry at the forefront is the wagon that transports the Formula 1 team all over the world. If I could add more pics I would as had such a great day & all for free with the sun shining & a great portion of chips&cheese!!
