Old Shire Hall Durham

Old Shire Hall is on Old Elvet on Durham. It is a beautiful building although looking sad and empty now. It used to belong to the University and is now for sale. It will probably end up as flats or a hotel. I went for an interview (unsuccessful) there once in a very grand room with an enormous table. Also looked round on a Heritage Open Day a few years ago.
