The future

A wise young man recently told me, with the utmost certainty, that the ears and the nose are the only parts of our body that continue to grow.

I always believed that it was a case of our heads started to shrink as we grew older.

This man, with a very small head, was on North Shields High Street this afternoon, when I asked if I could take his photograph, he happily replied :

"Gan yar sel bonny lad " ( go ahead mate).

I then asked, "why the hilarious ears ?"

"Way man it's Saturday like"....
