The Small Isles
Walked into Arisaig today and had a wander about, a visit to the community run heritage centre, lunch on the pier and then what was supposed to be a walk back along a coastal path. The 'path' involved scrambling over rocks and wading through mud. So much for Mr Quaver's fabulous Ordnance Survey maps on his phone!!
I started off trying to avoid the mud and step over the puddles......a few miles in I had given up and didn't care that the mud was up to my ankles and seeping into my boots from the top!
Anyway, the evening improved with fish and chips in Mallaig and we're now enjoying a little glass of wine and hoping that the stormy weather forecast for tomorrow won't be too stormy!!
The view was fabulous though....this shows Eigg and further out to Rum.
