Stumped

A long lie-in and quiet day doing nothing in particular, so I went for a short stroll before dinner to see if the WoL swan family might oblige me by putting in an appearance (we saw them yesterday,with all seven cygnets still going strong, but I didn't get a decent photo of them). Hardly anyone on the water apart from a few juvenile gulls and a couple of mallards. And strangely, not even a blipper to be seen anywhere! So I was a bit stumped.
