Day 8

(A little late due to lack of internet... apologies to all you faithful readers... AKA my dad.)

I tried to get a photo with some background of the city this time, rather continue withholding images of Budapest from you all.

Caelie (the wonderful flatmate) and I had the day mostly to ourselves. It was pretty glum in terms of weather, but we found a beautifully fragrant, small bread shop by our university. Pictured above is the onion bread we bought. I wish I could transport smell through this blog, because the bread smelled heavenly. Needless to say, it's all gone now.

Later that evening, Axel came by and we made dinner using the bread (poached eggs on top of the toasted bread with a mushroom, parsley, and garlic oil drizzle: we were feeling ambitious). Contemplating starting a food blog...

The night ended with a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts, some free apple cider/wine, and a great look at the Egon Schiele exhibit.

A good Thursday, to say the least.
