Maize field

The maize has grown tall at last and the cobs are filling out. I blipped this field when the crop was in its infancy and showing little curvy lines of green against the brown earth. It will be harvested probably in October, maybe earlier, and the whole plant will be shredded and put in the silage pit for winter feed.

T and K have gone up to London today for K's birthday outing. They left at the crack of dawn and wont be back til late.
