Mary's 90th celebration

This is Mary at her 90th birthday celebration which she invited everyone from church to come along to. Nearly 50 people were able to attend and caterers had laid on a lovely buffet. The background to this photo is actually quite appropriate as Mary is one of the most cheerful and positive people that I have ever met - so a smiley face sums up her wonderful personality! She used to be the singer with a dance band in Weston-super-Mare when she was young and was still doing singing performances around here until about 10 years ago when she felt her voice was not quite as good any more. Mary has a lot of back problems, but keeps going and still drives her car locally. An amazing lady.
