Logs

Bit of a quiet day today. John finished off the windows, doing the inside framing and they're looking just great.

Now we need to save up for the bathroom rebuild.

I managed to get some logs cut and stored but I'm beginning to realise that there's a lot of wood in a whole beech tree. In fact, we think that we've now got enough logs to last a whole year but, of course, that's a lot of sawing, splitting and drying too.

Now we need to plan how we're going to store them - the greenhouse is already full as is the shed and every basket in the house. Mmmmmmmm....
