I always claimed that if I had the money, I'd buy real art, as opposed to prints.
An art lecturer friend of mine once told me that you didn't have to be a multi millionaire to buy original art. She was right and here's one of the paintings we now have in our home.
The artist actually lives just down the road and has a studio on one of our dog walks and is even tolerant deliriously happy to have Lola wander about his studio amongst his paintings. Well the customer/potential customer is always right, right? ;)
That was just me being super cynical. He is actually just a really lovely, and amazingly talented chap. He does much bigger versions of these, but we can't afford those...
