Feeling A LIttle Gassy Are We?

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't want to be around if or when this blue jay runs into something sharp. I have visions of a little blue balloon-like thing shooting around the garden.

Actually, he's not full of gas at all -- he just finished preening and was all puffed up. I took a series of pictures of him on burst mode and when I run through them he deflates comically. I think blue jays are one of the more serious looking birds around, but not this guy -- he looks like a little blue gas ball, and it made me laugh.
