Death in the afternoon

I found this cockroach in my neighbours house this afternoon, it was still alive and being eaten by the ants. I wouldn't mind, I had cleaned the house yesterday as the owners left and their friends are arriving today, it's a good job I went up to check the house was okay, could you imagine their reactions on opening the back door and being greeted by this creature.

After the thunderstorms the skies are clear blue and the temperature has risen to a pleasant 30+.
