The Invisible Man . . .
Toronto, 3:30 pm, 2oo meters from the site of yesterday's Blip. The corner of Bay and Queen Streets, one of the busiest pedestrian areas of the city. A man lies in the middle of the sidewalk, barefoot, his head on his shoes. A sandwich still it its wrapper, a few coins from passersby, and a carrier bag at his side. Is he drunk? Homeless? A father? Husband? Is he sleeping? Is he alive? Dead? Who cares. This is Toronto, a city that, according to a mayoral press conference held yesterday, is booming again.
