Chicken party.

There is a comunity of native English speaking ladies living here in Anzio who get together a few times every year. The intelligent eyes in the blip belong to a Canadian lady aged 87yrs, taken during a summer party of ladies only.
There were also two of Italian guests, husband and wife. The husband, making conversation in English, said "this is a chicken party". I explained that we say "hen party". Then the wife said, "my husband is the only COCK" so I had to explain that one too.
