Autumn delicacies

A colleague of my Mum's has got some apple trees and she wanted to send Helga some apples as usual.

So when we went to my parents' summer cottage last weekend, they had two large plastic bags full of fresh and delicious apples from her.

It's a wee bit more than Helga can manage so I figured no-one will take offence if I make some dessert for my husband and myself as well.
