Are weather forecasts ever accurate?

When the forecaster on the BBC said it was going to be dry today in Scotland I did two loads if washing and hung them out on the line this morning, by the light of the security lamp.

It started to rain on my way to the station when it was too late to turn back. Besides it was going to clear up. Well that is what the said on BBC radio 2 this morning.

I have just brought some very soggy clothes in off the line, half will need to be spun again, then tubmled-dried, the other half will go straight into the drier having had some shelter under the rota-mate.
