Day 5 - Flåm, Norway

As you can see in the photo on the left, there was a H-U-G-E cruise liner already berthed in the tiny village of Flåm, so we had to transfer to shore by means of a tender.

Once there we took a ride on the famous Flåm Railway, which climbs nearly 1000 metres through magnificent scenery. Unfortunately the photos, taken through the carriage windows, don't do it justice.

The village on the right was a typical one we sailed past when the captain decided to take the ship into one of the narrowest fjords... just for the ride.
