Bedtime stories continued

Bedtime stories are not usually the calm scene you might imagine. E and A love story time and the essential jumping, rolling, clapping, singing, shouting, acting, sitting, squirming before finally succumbing to the soothing power of milk and cuddles. We end each day with a prayer and by asking E to tell us something she is thankful for... current favourites are "a lovely day" (said insincerely), "Uncle Joe", "keeping me safe" and lots of other random, adorable things. I will try and note more here.
