Sorbet & Smile

Today my friend Alison treated me to a belated birthday lunch at a local Asia-Fusion eatery that I've never noticed before. Here she is starting on dessert.

Alison is the world's finest human being. This meal was a downright elegant coda to the marking of my birthday, and it made me feel whole during a week that had me thinking about Purgatory.
