A Summer Storm

Just got home from an exciting trip to California. We kept getting messages from friends of this wild storm that hit Montana. We were afraid to find our home in ruins.

Thankfully our house was fine but everywhere else left signs of a crazy storm! Power outages for over a day in some places. Other houses had trees completely uprooted. Left over hail still was in tact in flower beds for more than a day. Boarded windows replaced the glass windows. Trees and flowers were in shreds! Leaves scattered the ground everywhere! But most shocking was seeing snow plows plowing mud from paved roads.

This simply doesn't happen in our part of Montana! A friend said the wind sounded like the tornadoes of Iowa! We were told curbs overflowed to make rivers. One friend said they heard of a boat (I'm sure a small boat) floating in the middle of a street!

I love storms but this is crazy
