No country for old men

The Rower gave this image the title, because he said it reminded him very much of the vistas shown in the movie of the same name. The movie was shot largely in New Mexico, so we know of many of the locations very well.

New Mexico is also justly famous for its big skies, and cloud formations. This was the view as we were driving back into Albuquerque.

NB: For the last day or so it has rained. and when I say rain, I mean the monsoonal variety. Sheets of water you can hardly see through. Makes driving a real adventure.
