This wise old saying is often used as a harbinger of bad weather to come. In this case, it foretold a week of rain in the desert southwest.

I discovered this beauty as I stumbled on to the front porch to pick up the morning paper. Then, I wobbled out with my camera and captured this. There has been no photoshop work done to improve it.
