Dogs at Breakfast

A candid shot at breakfast, before we left to drive back to Northampton from Old Lyme. Clockwise from left: Sally, Bob (our hosts), Marylee, Mace, and Reese. Mace is a golden labrador female, Reese is a corgi male. Both were adopted at two months and are now about three years old. They are a wonderful pair, utterly lively and friendly, playing constantly with each other and with any adult around. Sally and Bob regularly take both dogs to shows in New England (their indoor cages are visible on the sides).

This shot gives just a glimpse of Sally and Bob's wonderfully decorated abode, just off their kitchen. They've their large house for 12 years and before movin in greatly modernized it (e.g. enlarging windows and rooms). We had a great two-day visit! (As I mentioned, Sally and Marylee attended Mount Holyoke College together. )
