AH WAS ABOUT TO CALL IT A DAY. . . . .

nothin' was happenin' - cept I was losin' my hair fast an' my legs was complainin' about me not knowin' my age, an' my mind was deep frozen.
OK ah might get a slot in th'apartment facilities downtown carin' for folks nearer the last call than me--or was ah bein' optimistic. Sure seemed so!
An urgent knock on the door broke mah reveries and life came slowly back to believin' ah really was a private eye of 33 years standin' around. Someone wanted sumthin' from me.
When she came in ah knew she was trouble an' that's why ahm in this hypermarket car lot starin' around lookin' for this 4wheel job in the old snap she gave me-- she was frightened ..............
THAT IS AS FAR AS I AM TAKING YOU - FINISH THE STORY AS YOU WISH.
