Another pump day

Today the pump crew went to put in some pumps in a distant part of Doroba. The name of this village is Mathambo Metete. The well was dug years ago but the pump that they got has been broken for a very long time.
The guys pump out all the water for about an hour and then add a small quantity of chlorine to kill off any remaining nasties.
The pic shows the finish of the pump fitting, while the women were hurriedly collecting their new clean water. What a day!
William does not hang around and it was off to another location.
There was also a big day of training caregivers for the local preschools, so Casca and Miriam were brought out and collected thus saving fuel.
