Tuppence a Bag

A proud day today as my daughter Harriet was invited to St. James' Palace to collect her Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award from the Earl of Wessex.

Unfortunately award recipients are only allowed one guest at the ceremony so dad ended up walking the streets of London.

A trip on the London Eye, a sushi lunch, and a walk around the City if London meant that I was absolutely spoilt for choice for today's Blipfoto.

The view from the Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Portcullis House, Boudicca, Cleopatra's Needle, Millennium Bridge, The Tate, The Gherkin, Lloyd's Towers, The Pinnacle and the roof at Kings Cross Station.

In the end I settled for this shot of the steps to St. Paul's Cathedral.
