Emergency flower

Today has been surprising good! I have been dreading this day since I started supply teaching at this school. For today I was meeting the dreaded Year 11 group for the first time and, to top it all, it was a double lesson - 1 hour and 40 minutes. (This group came with a health warning from almost everyone I met - either they liked you or they didn't). So at 8.55am I let them in.......and....they were brilliant! I think they just needed switching on again. They worked really well for me and two teachers who had walked past my classroom whilst I was teaching this group came to find me to tell me that they were amazed the kids were sitting down and focussing and actually listening in silence.

It was a huge relief that it went so well and the rest of the day was fine.

I've been struggling for blips this week and I nearly blipped a photo of my peas which I had for supper (with other bits and bobs), but sadly my lens kept steaming up so I couldn't get a decent shot. I love peas and think we should appreciate them more.
