Now we have everything

Another lazy morning for us today. It's bloomin hot out there so we were quite happy to stay in the play room between meal times. After his usual big breakfast of porridge and fruit, Charlie tried some cheese and beans on toast today for his lunch. He loved it. A bit of a lazy mum moment that he really seemed to enjoy.

I've changed today's blip picture because I remembered I actually got my 'proper' camera out today. Hurrah! It's so worth it, I need to keep it charged and to hand so I remember to use it.

We finally made it out at 3pm. I just wanted to pop into Wood Green to get some bits ahead of this weekend's trip to York and Notts. I was hoping the weather would be cooler by the time we left the house but I was wilting when we reached the shopping centre. Plus I forgot the kids were back at school, so getting there just as they were all coming out wasn't my best move.

I picked up the bits I needed along with a new silly toy: a fish eye lens for my iphone. It's a bit lomo-esque in its blatant plasticy cheapness but that's the effect I like. I'm sure there'll be a few fisheye blips coming up!

As a last stop, Charlie and I went into Wilkos and as I was heading down the baby aisle I saw a mum pick up a giant gorilla puppet and start making her child laugh with it. I smiled and carried on walking and it wasn't until I had to loop back on myself that I realised it was Kelly! We ended up going round the shops together and grabbing some tea afterwards.
