Colourful Bug

I went out to put something in the wheelie bin this morning and found this little bug sitting on the lid. So I gently manoeuvred it onto my hand and brought it inside; a perfect blip candidate I thought!
It is a Common Green Shield Bug apparently and very eye catching don't you think?
I have been ironing all day long apart from a visit to the GP and transporting daughter to and from college. She's now been told that her free bus pass will take another 3 weeks!!! Grrrrrr!!!!!!
Anyway, at least the mountain of ironing has been conquered for now!
