Taken from a fast-moving tram ...

I love this lion. I'm sure most people miss it. Trams from Malostranska climb a steep hill with a hairpin bend, and this lovely lion is right on the bend.

One would think that the trams would be going slowly enough to take a decent photo, but alas, today this was not to be. I have much better photos of this lovely chap, but not with today's date! Sorry he's so fuzzy.

Anyway, here he is. The two-tailed lion of the Czech Republic. He rather reminds me of Aslan :)
