harvest

Here is another harvest pic. It amazes me how large the equipment has become. A lot of the farmers don't even use trucks in the fields anymore, instead they load these bankout wagons and then the wagon hauls the wheat to a semi truck waiting in the field near the road. Then the semi truck hauls the wheat to the elevator.
Probably more effecient.
Soon after I shot this pic it began to rain. This is a bad thing, since they can't cut if the wheat is wet.
