Vics

We have a little plum tree and the fruit are ripening beautifully now. They are Victorias, quite the best eating plum there is. There are not quite enough to make jam, so we just leave them out on the kitchen dresser and take one as we pass. We are getting our five a day in one variety- I'm sure that's not right!

Also not right is the law that says the people who play really badly at Mah-jong are the ones that get all the luck! I have had a very frustrating morning when I planned all sorts of fantastic hands and the right tiles never came up, while the player on my left messed about, moaned that she didn't know what to do and then calmly went Mah-jong! "Why do I play?" I ask myself!
