Power of faith

In July I visited a city called Juazeiro do Norte, which the biggest touristic attraction is its founder, Padre Cícero, whom is considered a saint.
People from the whole state of Ceará and Northeastern region comes at Juazeiro do Norte to pray and thank for the miracles in their lifes.
Then, a lot of people write their name and tie tapes around his giant statue to thank him for all the graces in their lives.
I'm not a very religious person, but it was incredible looking how powerful is the faith.
