An evening stroll with mum (and babe)

We might eventually be getting somewhere. Got an email out the blue from the boss asking us to start looking into lentiviral vectors for our cell experiments. Checked my email history and almost exactly 2 years ago I sent him info and asked if I could set up this system.

Move forward 2 years later of wasted time and money doing it the "easy" way and not getting results he decides to go full circle and come around to my way of thinking. Nice to know I was right all along!

2.5 hour long lab meeting. Like torture.

Came home and walked mum and the dog along la jolla shores in the clear evening sunshine. Looked like a good sunset was on the cards. However we were too hungry to wait to see it and retired to islands the local burger joint for a rather bland burger and overcooked fries. Still I wasn't paying so can't complain too much!
