Seattle Town Hall with author Jamie Ford
I became a BIG fan of author Jamie Ford a few years ago when I read his novel, "Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet." I liked that the book was set in Seattle but the story of the Japanese internment was a subject that was very near to my heart after knowing several people who had been interred or who had relatives that had been interred.
Hotel was a book that passed from hands and hands and while it initially had a small publishing, love for the book grew and it won many awards.
Jamie Ford launched a book tour last night for his new book "Songs of Willow Frost." He was invited to speak at Seattle Town Hall which is a beautiful venue and a cultural resource.
