Let there be light

When i returned home from collage, i was thinking about what photo to jack for todays journal. I've always wanted to do a dark photo with the centre piece being a candle or someing with fire to give a light source.

My sister then reccomended that i should use her zippo lighter with the flame alluminating the nearby sorrounding like the users hand and lighter case. It taken a few attempts to get this photo as im not the best at low light photography. Eventually i settled on Scene Auto setting and did minor adjustments on the computer using Photoimpact 10 to add a more orange glow.
I'll keep trying to recreate the image in my mind.
