Legging it

Well if Chipmonkey isn't going to post a 'spider' shot then I suppose I have to. It's either that or Crouching Chipmonkey Hidden Insect.

Another grey day. Our lunchtimes happened to synchronise today so we went out together and around the lake. The greyness meant little was visibly moving unless you kept your eyes on likely places.

This fellow was on decaying bench. I wasn't expecting anything quite as exotic. Apparently it is an arachnid, but not actually a spider. Not S's speciality.

The house is in mess-transit as M tries to merge back into his room, and S sorts and packs for uni this weekend.

Assembled the new roof-rackery-cum-bike-rack tonight. Solid, but unexpectedly heavy. Apparently, I have to keep under 80 mph while the bike's on the roof. Oh well.
