Although this date is now immortalised in time as the day the biggest terrorist atrocity took place this is in fact a happy day for us, our wedding anniversary. 38 years and three children down the road we still enjoy each other.

Tonight we went into Glasgow for a lovely dinner. My appetite hasn't been great of late but I managed to enjoy everything, gorgeous steak, (I hardly ever eat red meat) nice glass of red, lemon sorbet and a nice wee glass of pudding wine.

When we came out we noticed the Theatre of Fun but decided to give it a miss tonight, the Karaoke looked too energetic for us two. Home to a wee dram and slippers!
