Back in the saddle
Bit of poor start to the day when J's car wouldn't start meaning everyone ended up running late. We recovered well and I was feeling pretty smug with myself for having completed all the shopping and put dinner in the slow cooker by 9am. Then I looked around the place and noticing the state of the house, felt a lot less smug lol! I shall start to tackle that tomorrow no doubt.
L had her first friend over for lunch and a play after preschool. Her best buddy Kainan. He was so well behaved which was a joy for our first attempt at 3 year old play dates for a few years.
After school E had her first ridning lesson for a long while. She liked it a lot and is already impatient about going back again. This school has a much kinder and gentler approach to learning and the horses somehow seem their priority which I think is important to show the children who are wanting to learn. The last place we went, the tutors were often rough and sometimes gave them a little smack or shove which would leave me with my jaw on the ground.
Picked J up after work and homes for a warm and tasty spag bol.
