Union Street Methodist Church, Maidstone, Kent.

Fairly overcast weather today, dictated an "in-town" photograph.
Since we were going to Maidstone anyway, I made a beeline for this striking church (well, it is to me anyway) which, unsurprisingly given its name, is on Union Street.

I like the symmetrical form of the building - not quite perfectly so, but very close.

I don't know why, but I feel faintly reminded of chapels I might have seen further afield than Maidstone - like the USA?
